An Electrocardiogram or ECG is a non-invasive test used to assess the electrical signal released by the pumping heart muscle.
12 Small electrodes are placed on the chest and record the electrical activity the ECG displays the overall rhythm of the heart at that time along with any signs of weaknesses in different parts of the heart muscle. It is useful in diagnosing common heart conditions and is an essential part of a cardiac assessment and for individuals commencing Neurological medication such as ADHD medication.
Results are sent off to an ECG analysis reading service and a report alongside of a copy of your ECG will be returned to you via email within 48 hours.
